Propelled by Champions

Philly natives will recall the iconic ocean liner docked across from the South Philly Ikea, the SS United States. This social media fundraising campaign focused on the SS United States' ultra-fast, record breaking propellers. The goal was to raise $10,000 in 10 days. I achieved the goal in seven and raised over $41,000 by the deadline.

The stakes were high: if I didn't raise enough money in a very short amount of time, we'd have to sell one of the existing propellers for scrap. Luckily, I was able to draw on existing creative assets and an original illustration by David McCaulay to create show-stopping campaign visuals and copy. I focused the campaign on the propeller and chose a tone that would inspire our audiences. I was responsible for all graphic design, copywriting, and social media management.
